History:
Approximately 26,000 Marines were injured, and 6,000 killed in only 5 weeks, taking a heavily fortified Japanese Army island with a dense network of bunkers and 11 miles of tunnels.

Interesting fact: My Grandpa, a WW2 Navy Veteran, was conducting operations during Iwo Jima and was there to watch the US Flag be raised by the United States Marines.

Words will never fully express the gratitude we have for the Soldiers of WW2 and the hell they endured, so that we may all continue to live free today. It is because of those men and women who gave so much, that we proudly live today as free Americans.

All flags are made of kiln dried 3/4” thick knotty pine. Please remember the natural differences in wood and the unique craftsmanship that is a result of being hand made. Colors in the wood may have slight variants.
