History: Entrenched in jungle warfare, South Vietnam forces were engaged in combat operations with North Vietnam. Committed to battling communism and supporting Southern Vietnam, the United States committed approximately 2.7 million of Americas finest. By the end of the war, 58,200 American service-members had been killed, and countless others wounded. Despite answering the call, returning veterans were treated terribly, being attacked and spit on for their roles in the war. America, when they left, was not the same America as when they returned.

We would like to thank these amazing men and women for their service and their sacrifice. Their contributions and dedication to their country was a reflection of their love for their own country, and perhaps, their love for a safer mankind. As with so many conflicts, politicians prohibited them from doing what they needed to do, and many lives were lost because of it.

Interesting Fact:
Vietnam was the first conflict that was broadcast into Americans living rooms. The masses were no longer sheltered from the realities of the world, and they were able to see the harsh realities of war. This changed America, and the view on international conflicts, forever.

All flags are made of kiln dried 3/4” thick knotty pine. Please remember the natural differences in wood and the unique craftsmanship that is a result of being hand made. Colors in the wood may have slight variants.
